Uckfield based law firm, Rix & Kay has launched a dedicated commercial property FAQ service to help commercial landlords and tenants deal with the many challenges presented by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Anyone can submit questions to compropFAQs@rixandkay.co.uk which are answered by a dedicated panel of experts made up from Rix & Kay’s specialist Commercial Property and Dispute Resolution Teams.
Jo Bryan, who is a member of Rix & Kay’s Commercial Property Team and FAQ panellist commented:
“Since the pandemic took hold, we have been inundated with questions from worried landlords and tenants about how they are going to survive this crisis and how they should be managing their property concerns, and in particular cash-flow.
Our FAQ service is helping to share those common concerns and provide solutions. Above all, the FAQ service aims to encourage an open dialogue between landlords and tenants during Covid-19 and for both parties to enter into constructive conversations now and not bury their heads in the sand”.
The FAQ service is aimed at anyone managing commercial property and in particular retailers and other businesses that have had no alternative but to temporarily cease trading. Anyone submitting a question receives a dedicated response. Common questions and responses are also posted to an online forum, which can be viewed here, on a completely anonymous basis, to create a central resource of valuable FAQs for landlords and tenants.
