Business support organisation Locate East Sussex has relaunched its popular Business Planning programme for businesses in the Wealden District looking to create a plan for this year and years to come.
Locate East Sussex is a business support organisation that is funded by East Sussex County Council, the five district and borough councils, and the European Regional Development fund to help businesses within the county with their growth plans. It offers support with things like financial planning, access to loans and grants and finding commercial property, and because it is fully funded its services are completely free of charge.
The business planning programme, led by experienced business coach Jim Fletcher, combines guidance, practical exercises and the delegates collaborative experience to help you create a completed business plan to take your business forward.
Ideal for business owners, managing directors and general managers, the 4 sessions will provide a generic overview of business planning, covering the key elements that you can use to tailor to your individual business. Interaction is key to getting the most from this programme, seeking opinions and advice from other attendees to help shape your final plan.
“Jim was clear in directing us through our cash flow and business accounts. From this I was able to look at the different revenues in my business and know how to separate them into different streams whilst looking at the business as a whole. Jim also introduced us to many different methods of how to move forward in our business economically and how and when to introduce new ideas/ products.” – Josie Pollard, To the Rise Bakery
The sessions will be held online via Zoom on the following dates. It is important to attend each session as each will build up into completing your finished plan. Following the programme you will also be offered a free one-to-one coaching session with Jim for some individual support and advice relating to your business.
