The Divine Water Company provides water dispensers and coffee machines to organisations across the South-East. A well-established company with an excellent reputation for customer service, they came to Open Door Digital because they felt their lack of visibility on Google was becoming a barrier to further growth.

Chamber member, Open Door Digital undertook a thorough SEO audit, which included:

  • Keyword research to uncover the most popular search terms potential customers were using.
  • Reviewing their website’s technical structure and user journey.
  • Analysis of the website’s content, particularly to spot low word count, empty or image-based pages.
  • Looking for any pages which Google was not including in search results, and the reasons for this.
  • Investigating their “Core Web Vitals”, which includes page speed and user experience.
  • Checking that the website is completely mobile-friendly.

As a result of this audit, they made a number of recommendations, which included technical tweaks to the website, revising the text content on key pages, page load speed improvements and the removal of redundant pages.

The Divine Water Company were happy to approval all the recommendations, which were then implemented.

As a result of this work, a significant improvement in Google ranking was achieved, when people searched for both their water and coffee services.

In East Sussex (where they’re based) they now come top of Google for 38 of their target search terms (previously it was only 14). They appear on page one of the search results for 96 of them.

In Kent they top Google for 21 search terms (before our work there were 0) and are on page one for 72 target searches.

As a result, The Divine Water Company has seen an increase both in website traffic and, most importantly, enquiries.
