Trained by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) to respond swiftly to 999 emergency calls. Mobilised by the ambulance control teams, operating within the community, allowing CFR’s to reach the scene of a medical emergency in a matter of minutes—sometimes while the caller is still on the phone.
Providing basic life support, CPR, first aid, we carry a defibrillator as apart of the kit, our volunteers play a critical role in stabilising patients during critical moments, helping to save lives.
Often first on the scene of the emergency, offering swift assistance to those in need, ensuring that essential care, which can be life saving, is given as quickly as possible, and supporting local ambulance services.
Uckfield Community First Responders are dedicated volunteers from the local Uckfield and surrounding community who provide immediate care to those experiencing medical emergencies while awaiting the arrival of an emergency ambulance.
We also provide essential CPR training to the local community, groups, businesses within in the area. Uckfield & Area Community First Responders are a Registered Charity (No’ 1209095) who welcomes both the kind support and sponsorship from the local community.
