More Radio is an independent, commercial radio station that covers all of Sussex. This is achieved by four FM transmitter (Mid Sussex, Worthing, Eastbourne & Hastings) and two countywide DAB services i.e. More DAB and More Radio Retro. While the FM services and More DAB have a playlist spanning the best hits from the 90s to today (along with local news and travel information) Retro brings you the greatest tracks from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
In addition to its popular music mix, More Radio is known for its exciting, prize-money competitions such as ‘What’s the Word’, ‘Famous Five’ and ‘The Secret Sound’.
More Radio is deeply rooted in the Sussex community, giving back through wonderful initiatives such as the ‘Christmas Toy Appeal’, ‘Ten Thousand Tins’ and ‘The Child of Sussex Awards’. The latter of which culminates in an emotive awards ceremony, inside a genuine circus tent, at Knockhatch Adventure Park. Over the years, sponsorship of these three promotions has proven to be very attractive to local businesses, as strong and affordable CSR opportunities.
