Trained by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) to respond swiftly to 999 emergency calls Uckfield Community First Responders are dedicated local volunteers from Uckfield plus outlying villages. Mobilised by ambulance control, we reach the scene of a medical emergency in a matter of minutes—sometimes while the caller is still on the phone. Our presence in the community enables us to provide critical support right where it’s needed most assisting the Ambulance crew upon their arrival.
